NVIDIA Quadro G-Sync

NVIDIA Quadro® G-Sync is an option card for the NVIDIA Quadro® FX ultra-high-end graphics solutions. Featuring frame lock, genlock, and swap lock functionality, the Quadro G-Sync delivers unprecedented levels of industrial realism, visualization, and collaborative capabilities by enabling advanced multi-system and multi-device visualization environments.

The NVIDIA Quadro G-Sync board is designed to fit into any available expansion slot within 6 inches of the NVIDIA Quadro FX G-Sync connector. The board derives all data and power directly from the NVIDIA Quadro graphics solution.

Available in two versions, the Quadro G-Sync is designed to be combined with NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500 and 4500 and G-Sync II is designed to be combined with NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 and 4600.

Frame lock allows the display channels from multiple workstations to be synchronized, thus creating one large "virtual display" that can be driven by a multisystem cluster for performance scalability.

Genlock allows the graphics output to be synchronized to an external source, typically for film and broadcast video applications.
